Application

Indigo is an intelligent home control server that integrates an assortment of home control hardware devices to provide unprecedented control of your home. Indigo's built-in web server and client/server architecture gives you control and access to your home remotely from other Macs, PCs, internet tablets, PDAs, iPhone/iPod Touch and mobile phones. Indigo supports the PowerLinc home control interfaces, and is the first Mac software that can control both INSTEON and X10 compatible devices. Indigo's intuitive user interface allows you to create complex home control logic without complex scripting languages. In addition to having a built-in web server, Indigo also introduces Control Pages allowing the graphical creation of powerful web pages capable of controlling lighting, appliances and more. Indigo was developed from the ground up to be a robust, Mac OS X native, home control server. Mac OS X, with its preemptive multi-tasking and protected memory, makes for an outstanding home control operating system. When idle, Indigo uses a very small percentage of your computer's CPU cycles. This means you will not have any problems running Indigo in the background while you use your computer to do other tasks.
The "LM12 Lamp Module", "AM12 Appliance Module" and the "CM15Pro ActiveHomePro Interface" are simply put into an electrical outlet and the respective lamps or other appliances which you want to use are plugged in into the corresponding module. Now adjust the desired House and Unit codes for the LM12 and the AM12 as described in the manual. Adjust the "EasyControl 8 Universal Remote Control" to the same house code as the other modules. Now set it to the suitable IR codes for your A/V equipment (TV, DVD, SAT etc.). After you have programmed Indigo according to your wishes you're done. Now you have managed your start into the energy-saving and comfortable world of home automation!
