The Infrared Mini Controller lets your remotely control lights and appliances from the control of your armchair. Place it near you home entertainment system or by your bedside as you like. With your Infrared Universal Remote Control (X10 compatible), or by pressing the buttons on your Mini-Controller, you can turn off your appliances or lights around your home without getting out of your easy chair. You can turn off your child's radio, TV or night light from your bedroom. You can turn your lights on with the push of a button on your remote control if you hear a suspicious noise at night. With your RF Infrared Controller, you can control virtually all electrical appliances in your home.
For "intelligent" remote control like "Logitech Harmony" or "Philips Pronto": If the IRRF7243 is set to house code P, then all commands coming from such a remote control will be converted to powerline using the house code you set in the the remote. When you press a front panel key of the IRRF7243, the housecode P will be transmitted.
