How does the Marmitek GigaVideo 580 work?

It is really simple! The set consists of a transmitter and a receiver with an infrared return signal. Connect the transmitter to your A/V devices (e. g. DVD player or satellite receiver). Then connect the receiver to your (second) TV. Via the infrared extender, you can also continue to operate an A/V device that is set up in a different room (or in a closed cupboard) with its own remote control.
If you have several A/V devices:
If you have two or more A/V devices that you want to watch in another room, they will probably already be hooked up to the local TV in series. To connect the GigaVideo Transmitter you just need to identify the last component in the chain and connect the LINE OUT or SCART to the GigaVideo Transmitter IN jacks.
